June 12th!
A big thank you to Gina over at Sleepy Eyes Knitting! Today in the mail I received not one, but TWO books by Debbie Macomber along with an adorable kitty and yarn card. I've never read any novels about knitting before. I'm looking forward to trying out the patterns included in the fronts of these books too! Thank you again Gina.
I've slowly started to list items for sale over at eBay. It's been awhile since I've sold there so it took forever to create the listings. Ecclectic garage sale or shabby cheap (no misspelling here, this stuff has never been chic) are the adjectives that best describe my wares. Although this week I started out with some retired Fiesta pieces that I never use. Here's a link to my listings. Ssssh, B has a birthday coming up so I'm trying to make some money to get him a special birthday/father's day present. He rarely reads my boring blog so the secret should be safe.
Cheers all!
P.S. this post has been edited. A picture of Elsebeth Lavold's Liv Sweater has been added for Sopranospinner. Thank you for visiting!

You'll have to let us know how the books are - I keep meaning to check them out of the library but never remember. :) How cool to have them both as a little treat package. I hope your Dye-O-Rama yarn gets there soon - it was a fun swap, huh?
I'm a recent reader of your blog, so could you tell me what sweater the sleeves are for, pretty please?
Gorgeous!
Veddy welcome!
Thank you so much!! It's lovely and I will definitely knit it sometime. I'm knitting Rogue right now, although I'm not supposed to be...
Okay, I'm back. I had to go see the pattern book and I NEED those sweaters! I love cardigans, I love Celtic cables, I love the book. So I ordered it. Thanks for the inspiration!
Those two books ROCK! I really enjoyed them!
I thought I had commented, but realized that it wouldn't go through yesterday when I read the blog for the first time. I went to Ebay. The Fiestaware is beautiful. I really like it. Hope it goes well for you. Also, I love the colorway of your sweater. I can't wait to see it finished. Hopefully, modelled, huh? Take care and hopefully, your raspberries will come this year.
Hoping the weather stays warm and sunny and best things that can, happen to you soon.
Cheers Gillian
What a fun package! I enjoy reading books about knitting - the Monica Ferris books are also light and fun (set in Excelsior, MN, which is very near here.
ooo! I made Gyrid a couple summers ago. They are fun and she's a great designer - very flattering to a woman's shape. I can't wait to see the progress on Liv.
