Hey there!
We're officially homeless now. The girls and I are squatting at my parents' and B is staying with friends down in Oregon. I've made a half-assed attempt at home schooling the girls while we're here. Mostly we've been taking field trips though and the spelling, grammar and math only take about an hour total each day. Today we'll drive over to Raymond, WA. The main goal each day is to impact my parents as little as possible. They are busy and the house is small so this was a big inconvienence to them when we moved in. The kitties are doing well in the garage. I'm working on the four UFOs and some progress is being made. I think there is a yarn store over in Raymond that we may visit while exploring. Not much else to report. I can't load any pictures from here, but I'm taking lots for later. Ciao y'all (Italian hillbilly for goodbye).

So, homeless...wow...are you collecting cardboard for your new home under the "M" Street overpass? I'd be more than happy to send it to the closest post office for you to pick up. I can even find a marker and custom make you a sign that says "Homeless-will work for knitting supplies"
LOL...glad all is well with you & your family. Hang in there, you'll be in your new house in no time. Remember to scrapbook this all when you finally get all your UFO's done ;-)
ttfn & hugs!!
There are days I would love to be homeless!!! no laundry, no toilets to clean! LOL but.... then I would'nt have my kids, so there is a trade off. Glad to hear from you and cant wait till you post again - have a great mini-vacation at the yarn store!!! :)
Hmm, Mr Fitknit spoke of home schooling today and I must let him know it can be done 'half-assed'. Is that a technical term??? LOL
You feel that you are a "big inconvenience" to your folks!~!~!
There is a difference between inconvenience and difficulty.
Your folks want you to stay there even though it is difficult, because they know that it will be the best thing for everyone. Inconvenience is something that can easily be overcome by a little bit of effort all round. I'm sure you are making that effort and so are they. NO GUILT PLEASE.
Cheers Gillian
It's good to hear from you. Living like you are is difficult, but you all with do fine. We've done this a couple of times. Once when my BB and his family moved from NOLA and once when they moved back from Chicago. It's really more of an adventure than an inconvenience. I honestly don't this your parents mind. YOU DO, but they probably don't. Take care.
