Happy Birthday A2!

Today is my middle daughter's 8th birthday. Here are some facts about A2.

She is the spitting image of my late MIL except for her coloring... she has blonde hair and blue eyes like my mom.

Not one day of her life has passed where she hasn't cried.

She's worn glasses since she was two years old.

She's extremely athletic

Bird watching is one of her favorite hobbies

She's an amazingly talented artist

She can make "armpit fart" noises with just about any part of her body.

She intimidates some adults by calling "bullshit" on things and questioning authority. She has NEVER believed in Santa and at the age of 6 she even questioned the existence of God.

She frustrates her dad more than any other person on the planet.

She loves all animals and insects.

She would be really mad if she knew I was posting this picture. It was taken when she was two years old. She was playing dress up and put this fairy costume on all by herself. The back of the skirt was folded up and obviously fairies do not wear undergarments. I sneaked this picture in while her back was turned and have since dubbed it "Fairy Tail".

I love you A2, Happy Birthday!

And a very (or fairy) Happy Birthday to A2. Eight can be rough, but she sounds like a sweetheart. The more artistic the soul, the more pain is felt. Please give the girl a hug for me. The biggest worry will be when (and if) the tears dry up.

Just too cute. Obviously a treasured photo. I have a few like this of my youngest. She's a new mum herself these days and we laugh about the photos now, though she cringed with embarrassment a few years ago everytime they were mentioned. LOL. Happy Birthday A2!

I believe she would be mortified if she knew the school secretary saw this pic as well. What an adorable shot. Good eye with the camera, Heide.

I posted a "thank you" on my blog, but another thank you is due to you. The socks are lovely, I can't wait to wear them. I also can't wait to go crawl into bed and browse my new magazine too, before my eyes get heavy.

I remember when we stopped by a few years ago, after you moved into the house you're in. A2 must have been 2 1/2 years old and didn't much care for people she didn't know, but she curled up on Kelly's lap and fell asleep. She's such a sweet, wonderful girl, full of life and spunk. Happy Birthday, Sweetheart! BIG HUGS!
